about the pavilion façade

Conceived by Japanese architect Yuko Nagayama, the Kumiko-inspired façade, served as the centrepiece for the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. It now graces the returning Women's Pavilion for its second instalment. The Pavilion's façade will be repurposed, marking an unprecedented initiative and forging a connection between the two global expositions.
